Our company was founded, like so many in Italy, in the garage of its founder's house, back in the early 1920s.

The idea of our founder, Francesco Magnoni, was to produce something everyone could use, an “affordable kitchen”, in a different and even more affordable way.

Stoves at the time were usually made of cast iron. Magnoni decided that to achieve his goal he would need to use sheet metal.

This choice was the beginning of his specialisation in sheet metal work, which is still the company's defining feature.

The first official document in our company's possession is a “Licence to do carry out trade” granted on 1 January 1939.

The firm's running passed to Donato Magnoni, son of its founder. Together with his wife Aspesi Giuditta and their skilled workers, he would go on to run the business for many years, entering a wide range of markets: automotive, scales and slicers, parts for washing machines, electromechanics and many more.

Collaboration with the American multinational IBM gave us the idea of developing our own product, designed and manufactured in Magnoni and sold under the Magnoni brand.

This led to the creation of MF Products: several ranges of free-standing and wall-mounted boxes and related 19" accessories for the structured cabling sector.

Thanks to its reliability and assurance, Magnoni Francesco S.r.l. has managed to stay afloat in an ever-developing market full of more and more competitors, achieving two very important prizes, for being a member for 50 years of Unione degli Industriali della Provincia di Varese and for 100 years of work.
